where i'm headed...

the day before my 24th birthday, i will begin an adventure that will likely change me forever. at the end of february i am moving to youth with a mission's base in oxford, new zealand. march 1st i begin a mission-oriented study program in preparation for a 3-month outreach in one of 6 areas of the world.

3 months in new zealand, 3 more backpacking from one mission opportunity to the next, and then we head to israel! i will be fulfilling a life-long dream as i travel through the holy land, visiting biblical and historical sites i've only ever read about. the culmination of the trip is graduation from the discipleship training school, which will take place on the mount of olives. there, we will be commissioned (just like jesus' disciples!) to go out into the world, taking the good news with us wherever we go. march can't come fast enough!
